The conical burrs used to grind coffee in this Breville grinder produce the most flavorful coffee due to the slower grinding speed. Blade type grinders spin at a much faster rate and some of the coffee flavor is lost. The burrs may be adjusted to produce coffee ranging from coarse for French Presses and percolators to very fine for espresso and Turkish coffees.

The top hopper will hold up to one-half pound of coffee beans and the variable timer can be set for 10 to 30 seconds of grind time. The conical burr can be removed for cleaning.
